After I made the decision to renew VIB Rouge for 2016, I received an email from Sephora letting me know that my “Rouge Status is solid until December 31, 2017” and that I could pick up my VIB Rouge renewal gift if I haven’t already. And they showed a picture of the Nars blush that I wanted!

I’m not entirely sure that I’m actually Rouge through 2017; I think it may be a typo…Anyway, I called up my local Sephora to make sure they had the Nars blush in stock and they did. So I went in and showed them the email I received and they gave me the Nars blush VIB Rouge renewal gift. I’m super happy about it since this is the renewal gift I wanted. I don’t really wear any lipsticks, and especially not a red lip, so the VIB Rouge lipsticks weren’t my favorites, but still a nice perk of VIB Rouge.
The Nars blush in Goulue is my favorite VIB Rouge renewal gift so far. I will get a lot more use out of a blush than a lipstick, and this blush is so flattering — a shimmery dusty rose color. I love it.
The Rouge packaging was pretty nice too. The blush came in a rectangular pull-out box with a red-ribbon pull string. Inside, there was a VIB Rouge welcome booklet that highlighted some of the perks of VIB Rouge. The blush itself is quite small, more like an eyeshadow size, but again such a nice perk of VIB Rouge.
