This year is flying by! April is already over and I’ve been loving a few new things this month that I wanted to share. Here are my April Favorites 2016:
Dave Ramsay Podcast – I have been listening to quite a few podcasts lately and my go-to has definitely been the Dave Ramsay Show. This podcast is updated daily in three separate episodes; so there’s tons of content. Dave Ramsay answers financial questions from call-in listeners. It’s great — all about being debt-free and taking control of your money. We’ve been following the “baby steps” and have already made so much progress towards being debt-free. BKR Water Bottle – I love love love these water bottles. I am obsessed with the cute colors and the fact that the bottle is glass and doesn’t taste sour or plastic-y. There are a bunch of color options, but my elle heart bottle is my current favorite; it’s the 500mL size which I’d though was a little small at first, but it’s actually perfect.
Downton Abbey – I’d heard of this show before, but I was never interested in watching it. I have Amazon Prime which includes Amazon Video and there are a lot of shows/movies that aren’t on Netflix including Downton Abbey! I’m already on season 2 and I love it.
Erin Condren Notebook – I love Erin Condren and her Notebooks. The new Notebook I bought has the dot grid paper which I’d actually never seen before. It’s been awesome; I can make checklists and their boxes super easily while writing in a straight line. I also love the amazing cover I chose and the blue/purple tones.
Amazon Prime – I’m loving Amazon Prime for the free, 2-day shipping mostly, but also Amazon Video like I mentioned above ^. Amazon has everything and I don’t like paying for shipping, so $99/year for unlimited 2-day shipping, and Amazon Video & unlimited Prime Music is a good deal for me. You can get a 30-day free trial here. If you buy things on Amazon or want to try out Amazon Video, Prime is a good choice.
Bikini So Teeny – Essie – This blue color has silver shimmer flecks and is super pretty. I use it as a pedicure color and I think it makes me look tan. I like the essie formula and it only takes two coats to not be transparent.
Berry Hibiscus Refresher (DIY!) – It’s warming up and I’ve been making my own Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher again. I had forgotten how much I love this drink and the tartness of the berry juice/green coffee. It’s refreshing and easy to make, plus it’s less expensive than buying at Starbucks.
Game of Thrones – YAY! It’s back! Only one episode has aired so far — I’m hoping Jon Snow can be brought back to life. Spoilers? This show is great and I can already see that this season is going to be great.
Sleep Mask – This has been a life-changer! It’s like sleeping with a bra on your eyes, but it blocks out all light which I love. I used to have black-out curtains which were awesome, but now I just have blinds on my windows and so much light comes in, especially at 5 in the morning. So, this sleep mask has been like little black-out curtains for my eyes and i love it.
