I have been using the Horizontal Layout this year and it is definitely the best way to plan! With the 2017 Life Planner, there is now a “Neutral” color option and I’ve been torn on whether to get it or the “Colorful” color option. I actually prefer a more colorful and bright planner, but the more muted color scheme of my 2016 planner is my favorite and this 2017 version seems much brighter and maybe childish…or just hues that aren’t my favorite. The Neutral option is definitely more mature/professional seeming and I love the font — it’s a really pretty script font.
Looking at the Erin Condren website, there’s a really neat slider toolbar ^ that lets you compare between the color options for the weekly spread, mini months, monthly spread, and notes & quotes. This year you can also customize your coil color! Choose from standard platinum, gold, rose gold, or black coils. And of course, the cover options are more beautiful than ever!
There are so many design choices for the 2017 Erin Condren Life Planner, but for me, it all comes down to the color scheme — “Colorful” or “Neutral”?

If I could have my “ideal” planner, it would have the script and design of the Neutral option, but with a bright yet muted color palette. Since that is not an option….my 2017 Erin Condren Life Planner will be the Horizontal Colorful option. Yes, I know…but one of the main reasons that I love the Life Planner is the colors.
