I recently picked up a bunch of Recollections Planner Stickers from Michael’s and they are so pretty. I love the variety and how I can just get them from my local Michael’s. In this Plan With Me (PWM), I’ll show you how I set up my Erin Condren Horizontal Planner with washi tape and functional stickers each week:
For this week, I started out with two strips of washi tape from Michael’s. I like washi because it’s a fast and colorful way to block out a section. I bought these two $10 washi sets and I like the way the colors compliment each other.
Next, I lay out any functional stickers for things I know are happening in the week. I’m expecting a delivery on Monday, doing laundry on Sunday, cleaning on Friday, etc.
Once I have my functional stickers/icons in place, I’ll write in whatever is going on. This week I’m using a fine tip Sharpie pen to write in everything. I also really like the PaperMate InkJoy gel pens.
As the week goes on, I’ll add events that happened, things I want to remember, or even a picture that I print out on my mini printer. I know a lot of people prefer to buy a bunch of sticker kits off Etsy and fill up every inch of their planner, but I like the cleaner, simple look.
