I saw on Instagram that Casetify had a glow in the dark version of my favorite glitter iPhone case and I was so excited. I made my order and they just arrived yesterday. So, here’s a closer look at the two glow in the dark glitter cases I got and an update on my original glitter case:
GLOW IN THE DARK IPHONE CASE COLLECTION
Casetify’s new glow in the dark glitter cases are so gorgeous. When I first saw them online, I was super excited because glow in the dark glitter is so much fun. I already love my silver glitter case and use it basically every day, but glow in the dark seemed so extra and I knew I wanted it. Also, these glow in the dark cases are limited edition, so I bought two.

On the website, you can choose which design you want on the back of your case, or you can chose customized text, font, and colors. I decided to do custom text on mine. I have one that says ALOHA in rainbow colors, and one that says SURF in blue.
The glow in the dark cases have liquid and glitter inside that cascades within the case and it is seriously so pretty. The glitter floats inside and catches the light to really make the phone stand out. There are a ton of different colored/shaped glitter pieces inside the case — super fine gold glitter, long gold glitter strips, holographic circle pieces, hot pink triangles, neon pink circle glitter, and the glow in the dark hexagon glitter pieces.
The combination of shapes and styles of glitter with the neon pink transparent case make this phone case so unique and special. It’s definitely my new favorite.
I really love the rainbow letters on my ALOHA case; it just looks super fun with the pink/gold glitter.
The cases fit snugly on my phone and I know it definitely does protect it because I dropped my phone onto the hard floor a few weeks ago and it survived. I wanted to show how the case looks in the dark, but it was kind of hard to photograph. I would probably need a better camera that shoots well in low light. This is from the Casetify website:
There’s a gif on the Casetify site when you select the glow in the dark glitter option that shows the case going from normal light to dark. Only the little hexagonal pieces of glitter glow — not the full case.
SLIVER GLITTER CASE UPDATE + COMPARISON
As I mentioned, I love my silver glitter ALOHA case that I first bought from Casetify and I use it almost everyday. Recently, I noticed that there’s an air bubble inside the glitter part that I never saw before. I’m not sure how air/more air could have gotten into the glitter layer of my case.
There hasn’t been any leakage from my case, but I’m low-key concerned that the air bubble means that there’s been a breach in my case’s integrity. I’m still going to use the case and I’ll report back if anything happens. Luckily, I do have a backup duplicate since I really love the silver glitter.
The silver glitter really looks bright and fiery. Here’s a look at both ALOHA cases together — you can really see the color differences.
