The new 2019 Erin Condren Life Planner was officially launched yesterday and I am super excited about the new Woven Wonder theme and all of the items I chose. Here’s my experience ordering the 2019 Erin Condren Life Planner + accessories, and how I built and personalized my new planner:
Last year, those who were subscribed to the Erin Condren Sneak Peek emails were able to get early access to the new Life Planners and order them three days before the official launch. I am subscribed to all the Erin Condren emails and I’m signed up with their new EC Insider program, but I never got any of the sneak peek emails this year!
I just happened to be researching the planners on youtube and saw Teph Williams mention the emails and that early access for EC Insiders would be on May 1st! I didn’t want to miss out on the pre-sale especially since I am signed up with EC Insider, so I reached out to Erin Condren on twitter to see if they could help me. They told me they couldn’t since I haven’t been getting the Sneak Peek emails already even though I am already an EC Insider. :/ I think they must have just been wanting to stagger the launch so they weren’t slammed with orders on one day, but I still would have liked it if they could honor my EC Insider status and help me out.
I still didn’t want to miss out on the May 1st launch, so I started researching and asking around on social and I was able to figure out a workaround to make my order that morning for the early access. By the evening, I had already received an email that my order was ready to ship! That’s pretty impressive since I ordered a lot this year, including two planners with personalization.
WHY I CHOOSE ERIN CONDREN
This will be my 6th Erin Condren Life Planner. For me, having a planner helps to keep me on track and organized with my short-term and long-term goals. I love the feeling of checking something off my list or seeing my progress towards a goal. Each year I keep coming back to the Erin Condren Life Planner. I love the Life Planner because it’s so beautiful and motivates me to keep using it. Your planner can only help you be organized if you are using it, and the beautiful colors, designs, and personalization options keep me from getting bored with my planner. The Erin Condren Life Planner is super great quality and just gets better each year. If you want $10 off your first order, create an account through my link.
Here’s a look at the 2018/2019 Erin Condren Life Planner and the new accessories that are available:
WHATS NEW THIS YEAR
WOVEN WONDER THEME
I really like the Woven Wonder theme throughout the planner. It looks less like a weave pattern to me and more like kind of tribal hash marks. I really liked the Painted Petals theme from last year and this new theme does not disappoint. It kind of reminds me of abstract 90’s art. I prefer the ivory background to the navy one though because the colors don’t seem as vibrant against the navy.
INSIDE THE PLANNER
The planner is very similar to last year with only minor detail changes. The notes pages with the circles from last year are now gone and back to just plain lined pages. On the monthly view, there’s now a small mini-calendar for the upcoming month in the bottom right corner. They’ve added a “Let’s Keep in Touch” Contacts page, and there are new coloring pages in the back Notes tab. And there are new decorative and functional stickers included this year.
WHAT I ORDERED
I ordered so much during this launch, and I am super excited for everything. I recently made my 20th order with Erin Condren, so I had a $100 discount code that I was saving to use toward my purchase! So awesome! If you are making your first order, be sure to sign up with my link for $10 off.
2019 LifePlanner – Triangle Overlay
I picked the colorful, horizontal version of the LifePlanner again this year. I love the horizontal version and the colorful style just makes each month so unique and fun. I chose the Triangle Overlay cover option because it is super colorful, and I want my planner to be bright and fun. I like the Woven Wonder accents within the planner, but the signature Woven Wonder navy cover option wasn’t really calling to me.
2019 LifePlanner – Woven Wonder (Ivory)
I also got a second LifePlanner in the colorful version, but this one is in the vertical style. I remember when I first found out about Erin Condren planners and the unique vertical layout. I really liked to plan vertically and make little lists each day, but once the horizontal layout was introduced I knew that was the way for me. I did want to give the vertical layout another try since I know it’s the most popular style for Life Planners. I chose the signature Woven Wonder cover, but in the ivory color since I think the colors pop more than they do on the navy cover.
Woven Wonder Starter Pack – $23
I got 15% off accessories when I bought four, so I added this starter pack. I comes with the new Woven Wonder Snap-In Stylized Sticky Notes, Sticky Notepad, Paper Tape, and Snap-in Bookmarks. I ended up buying some of these items a la carte, but this was a good value.
Planny Pack Starter Pack – $34
I recently got a black Planny Pack and I love it. The elastic band holds my planner together and helps me to easily carry around all of my planning essentials on the go. I chose to get this Woven Wonder Planny Pack because I like the design and it came with the Elastic Band trio in Pastel, a Lilac Pen Holder, and the Woven Wonder Snap-In To-Do List dashboard. I haven’t ever use any of the dashboards so I thought this one looked neat.
Designer Sticker Book – Edition 4 – $15
I thought these stickers looked super pretty, and there’s so much variety. I ended up buying two of these because I think I will get a lot of use out of it. I love the foiling details and the bright color options.
Snap-In Wellness Dashboard – $6
I’m not even really sure what this dashboard is like. I wanted to try it out since I was getting the To-Do Dashboard and buying the wet erase markers. From what I could tell, you can record your water intake, meals, and exercise for the week. It seemed like something that could be fun for me, so I wanted to give it a try.
Colorful Dual-Tip Markers – $15
I really like these markers; I have them in the Classic color option. I thought I would like the Pastels color option from swatches I’ve seen from other people.
Elastic Band Trip | Gem Tones – $7
I love these elastic bands to keep my planner securely closed, or to mark my place while I’m out. It’s just a little decoration for your planner. I thought these jewel tone colors would look nice with the Triangle Overlay cover I got.
Wet Erase Markers – $10
Since I’m getting a few of the snap-in dashboards, I will need the special wet-erase markers. Â Like I said, I’ve never used these before, so I’m hoping that they write well and remove easily.
Designer Paper Tape Duo – $5
I got another order of the paper tape and a few other of the accessories because I might start using some of the items now. I usually wait to use the new themed items until the new  year (2019 for Woven Wonder), but I think I may want to try out these items before then.
Metallic Mini Snap-In Bookmarks – $8
Another item that I got a duplicate of. I really love these snap-in bookmarks. They are small and cute, and I can easily pop them into each week to mark my spot. Pretty basic, but it is really nice to be able to quickly flip to my saved page.
Woven Wonder Snap-In Stylized Sticky Notes – $10
The stylized sticky notes are the best for pre-planning. I love being able to keep a note in my planner or move it around without having to commit to it in pen. I use the sticky notes to help me plan my blog content and to remind myself of tentative future plans. This year’s woven wonder themed sticky notes look extra cute because of their different sized and obviously the cute colors. I can’t wait to use these.
Woven Wonder Sticky Notepad – $4
Again, another duplicate item. I thought this sticky notepad would be great for grocery lists or brainstorming ideas. I could just have these in my planner and make a quick list without having to take up any space writing in my planner. I think I saw these with last year’s lane, but I didn’t purchase them.
Then as a gift with purchase, I got an exclusive sticker sheet, and a Woven Wonder themed reusable tote bag.
I’m really excited for my order to arrive and to start using some of my new things. I’ll probably do a quick unboxing on Insta stories, so make sure to follow me on Insta. Also, be sure to use my link for $10 off your first Erin Condren purchase!
