The dates and details for the Holiday Sephora Sale are official! If you participate in Sephora’s Beauty Insider program, you’ll get a discount. So, if you’re thinking about making a purchase, the Holiday Savings Event Sephora Sale is a great time.
Every Beauty Insider participant gets a discount in the Sephora Sale 2022. The higher your Beauty Insider tier, the greater discount you’ll get. Higher tiers also get early access to the sale.
Beauty Insider Program
The Beauty Insider program is Sephora’s loyalty program. It’s free to sign up and you’ll earn points for every purchase. Anyone who is enrolled in the Beauty Insider program will get a discount during the Sephora Sale, but the higher your tier/more you spend during the year, the greater your discount will be.
Beauty Insider Tiers
♡ Insider = entry level, no minimum spend
♡ VIB = spend $350+
♡ VIB Rouge = spend $1000+
There are other benefits with each tier:
Sephora Sale 2022 | Holiday Savings Event
Rouge and VIB tiers get to shop the sale early. Rouge can use their discount starting on Friday, October 28th; VIB starting on Tuesday, November 1st; and Insiders starting on Thursday, November 3rd.
Dates + Discount
Rouge = 20% off 10/28 – 11/7
VIB = 15% off 11/1 – 11/7
Insider = 10% off 11/3 – 11/7
The discount will work in-store and online, and you can shop as many times as you want. Use code: SAVINGS online, or mention the discount in-store at checkout. The code is the same for everyone, regardless of tier.
What if I’m close to reaching the next tier?
Your Beauty Insider discount will be based on your tier prior to redemption.
For example, if you make a purchase during the sale that takes you over the threshold to the next tier, you don’t automatically get the higher tier’s discount. In fact, it takes a while for your new tier to even register in their system. Full details here.
So if you are close to another tier, you may want to consider making a purchase before the sale to get you to the next tier so you’d get the greater discount. But you’d need to do the math to see if it makes sense for your situation. There’s a point multiplier event going on now, so you could at least get extra points if you chose to buy something before the sale.
Bring A Friend
Rouge also get to share this 20% discount with a friend during early access. Be on the look out for an email with instructions on how to share this one-time use discount for your friend to use between Friday, October 28th through Monday, October 31st.
Sephora Collection Sale
In addition to the tiered discounts for all Beauty Insiders, all of Sephora Collection products will be 30% off from 10/28 – 11/7. So regardless of your Beauty Insider tier, you will get 30% off on any Sephora Collection items. Use code: SAVINGS.
Exclusions + Limitations
There’s always some fine print with these big Sephora Sales. The Holiday Savings Event discount is not valid on:
- The Ordinary
- MAC Cosmetics VIVA GLAM products
- Sephora Collection (but you will get 30% off; you just can’t combine/stack the discounts)
SKU Limitations per transaction:
- one Dyson item
- three taste Shape Tape Concealer
And if you have any Beauty Insider Cash you were saving, or a Rouge Reward, unfortunately you won’t be able to use them during the sale.
