I love these bkr water bottles so much. I drink a lot of water so I’m always on the lookout for a good water bottle that is cute but also durable and that won’t leak in my bag. The bkr water bottles are perfect because they come in three sizes, they are glass bottles which are better to drink out of than plastic, and my bkr water bottle never leaks and hasn’t cracked even though I’ve dropped it a couple of times!
The bkr water bottles come in three size options — 250mL ($28), 500mL ($35), and 1L ($45). I have the 1L and 500mL sizes which are each good for different reasons. I take both water bottles to work and refill once during the day. The smaller 500mL size is what I use if I’m just running errands on the weekend or walking over to the park; it’s also perfect to take to the gym. I like the 1L size if I know I’ll be busy throughout the day and don’t want to refill as often. I also like the weight of the 1L bkr — it feels substantial and not like a dinky bottle that may crack if you set it down wrong.
I really love how my water tastes when drinking out of my bkr water bottle. Because the bottle is glass, it’s BPA-free and phthalate-free so you don’t get that creepy plastic taste. Plus, my water stays cooler longer which is important to me especially in the warmer months. Also, they make a cute ice cube tray for ice cubes that will fit in the mouth of the bottle since the spout is small — about the size of the mouth of a regular 16 oz. disposable plastic water bottle.
Cleaning the bkr water bottle is easy because it’s all dishwasher safe — the cap, the bottle, and the silicone sleeve. Sometimes the silicone sleeve can pick up lint or dirt specks, but they all wipe off easily or you can run it through the dishwasher. Of course, you can hand wash if you prefer. I like to hand wash the bottle & dish wash the cap and the sleeve. Because the mouth of the bottle is quite narrow, you will need a bottle brush to really clean out anything in your bottle. I only ever drink water out of my bkr, so I just do a few rinses with hot water and I’m good to go.
The silicone sleeve is so great because they come in so many beautiful colors, but it also serves to protect your bottle and it gives me a better grip so it won’t slip out of my hands. The grip can become slippery if your water is cold and condensation forms on the silicone sleeve, but I haven’t really found this to be a problem. The bkr water bottle is very durable. When I was considering this purchase, I was concerned that it may break since it’s glass but I’m so happy I haven’t had any issues. Of course with glass, there’s always a risk of breaking but I’ve dropped my bkr water bottle (the 1L) on carpet and on concrete and the silicone sleeve has kept it safe! I’ve also never had an issue with leaking — even if the bottle falls over in my bag!
These bkr water bottles are just plain pretty. I love their simple and clean design, but also the variety of colors to choose from. When I’m at work, I just enjoy looking at them on my desk. It really does make a difference though — I already like drinking water, but I find myself wanting to use my bottle and keep drinking more. And that’s a good thing! The screw top lid is perfect — there’s a loop at ~45 degree angle that makes carrying the bottle super easy.
The bkr water bottle is stylish, durable, and it lets water taste like water should — which is the whole point! I love my bkr water bottles and I’m so happy to have found a glass water bottle that is leak proof and convenient to take with me wherever I go.
